Chris Davies MEP
Our local MEP from 1999 to 2014, Chris Davies was the Environment and Public Health spokesman for Liberals and Democrats across Europe in the Parliament.
Prior to that was the MP for nearby Littleborough & Saddleworth, after winning the seat at a byelection in 1995.
The UK Liberal Democrats are part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) in the Parliament.
